Check List

I've got to admit that depression had found it way to me in the past few days that we've been dealing with in ( Yarmouk Camp- Damascus to Gaza- Palestine).
Usually I find my way out of this mood by getting busy with something so I decided to concentrate on the bright side I thought for a while and I've found that some really good stuff had happened so I made this (positive check list J )
-          Fedi's   Graduation
-          We got our washing machine.
-          My little student is doing great job with English you should hear him introducing himself( my name ith Falouq)= Farouq.
-          I'm getting  a raise.
-          All my family and friends are fine.
-          Rainy days were so helpful  and peaceful
-          Voluntary work was ON during October.
-         re-organize my office = better mood
It's a post for myself actually so I can remain Thankful and optimistic no matter what!

It's time…. Put Your Heels on!

Wearing heels is something I'm not so good at and don't do it alot execpt for occasions and this time's occasion is so special it is my ENGAGMENT PARTY to the love of my life.
We've already started planing our small at hom party (guests list, music, etc), I've chose a lovely dress and my hairstyle but the big question is how am I going to spend a whole night with my- heels on- the answer ofcourse is practising all the time, ladies I read about it and those are some steps:

-Start small: Try something like a 2 inch heel or wedge to get used to the feeling. You can always work your way up to your most killer heels.

 - Walk heel to toe, not toe to heel: your heel down first, followed by your toe. This will give you more balance and make your stride look more natural.

 - Step as if you were walking on a straight line, walk one foot in front of the other using a real line on the floor or try to imagin one, and watch how models do it!
- Practice… Then practice some more, Practice walking on carpet, slippery floors, up stairs, and outside.

Walking in high heels is like any other skill, we need to do it a lot to get good at it, so stop reading and start the doing it! Wish me luck without breaking a leg!
