Another workshop

Those last 10 days of September were full of activities and there were so much to do, we started it with "psychological Support – primary psychological  support" course  in busy 5 days, it was really helpful, important and fun… it gave us the key to deal with  shocked or stressed people in crises along with how the volunteer or social worker can take care of himself  and his partner under  the pressure which they will be
dealing with..

I've already used what I learned and cant wait till the next course.

Voluntary Workshop.., /2/

"Volunteers in community” is the title of the workshop that
Jafra organised few days ago to explain the concept of volunteering, identifying community support, addressing volunteers’ concerns and providing guidelines for skills development with Trainer:  Yehea Hourani.

back to voluntary... /1/

Syria... it's enough to explain what i am talking about! many families had to leave there home heading to the closest safe area including schools..
once those families arrived to Yarmouk camp where I live hundreds of people start to collect supplies and contribution for schools and mission were perfectly done..

as for me and my friends we thought that the children had suffer enough and they need some psycho-support  by playing games that teach some values, do some activities with them, it is taking about 3 days for each school..

a barber and a dentist was a part of those days..

have got to say that voluntary has a different taste in crisis... not only something you want to do it is something you have to do and do it well.. see post no. /2/
I've enjoyed working with Jafra Foundation  ..
